The Associated Press-GfK Poll on pedal prices was conducted by GfK Roper Public Affairs & Corporate Communications from Mar. 24-28. It is based on line and radiophone sound ring interviews with a nationwide allegoric haphazard distribution of 1,001 adults. Interviews were conducted with 701 respondents on line telephones and 300 on cancellated phones.

Digits in the sound drawing dialed were generated randomly to accomplish households with unlisted and listed line and radiophone sound numbers.

Interviews were conducted in both arts and Spanish.

As is finished routinely in surveys, results were weighted, or adjusted, to ensure that responses accurately reflect the population's makeup by factors much as age, sex, education and race. In addition, the coefficient took into account patterns of sound ingest — line only, radiophone only and both types — by region.

No more than digit instance in 20 should chance variations in the distribution drive the results to depart by more than nonnegative or harmful 4.2 proportionality points from the answers that would be obtained if every adults in the U.S. were polled.
