DUBAI, United Semite Emirates – Authorities in the United Semite Emirates hit detained a blogger and rights activist who says he's gotten death threats for occupation for semipolitical freedoms in the Gulf nation.

Ahmed Mansour's wife and a associate say he was detained weekday at his metropolis home.

Mansour told The Associated Press weekday that he's been getting threats for signing a asking occupation for an elected parliament. The Emirates is an alinement of heptad sheikdoms where semipolitical state is seriously restricted.

Mansour's wife, Nadia, says 10 policemen searched their home, seized digit laptops and took him into custody.

Another semipolitical activist, Muhammad al-Mansouri, also reportable the arrest.
