"I deeply feel the danger of the individualized aggregation that occurred and am provoked that it happened," Combs said. "I want to quiet people that the aggregation was stamped soured from any open admittance directly after the nonachievement was discovered, and was then moved to a bonded location."

Combs said the aggregation was from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Employees Retirement System of Texas. The Texas Workforce Commission accumulation breach was the most widespread, containing records of whatever 2 meg individuals.

The accumulation files were not encrypted as required by Texas administrative rules ingrained for agencies. The difficulty was discovered when comptroller's office staffers were doing a security scan on whatever another files and noticed whatever folders that had been erroneously put on the server, said R.J. DeSilva, a spokesman for Combs.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is investigating, DeSilva said.

Combs said her office module send letters this hebdomad to every of the people whose individualized aggregation was exposed.
