Google's YouTube to boost staff by 30 percent in 2011 (Reuters)
NEW YORK (Reuters) – YouTube, the favourite recording place owned by Google Inc, said on weekday it is adding 200 jobs, boosting its body by more than 30 proportionality in its biggest hiring year.
In a journal posting, the company also said more than 35 hours of recording are uploaded to its place every minute, with videos viewed over 2 1000000000 nowadays a day.
Youtube, with most 650 employees, said most of the new jobs will be at its San Bruno, Calif. headquarters, but there are also foreign openings in cities including Milan, St. Petersburg, Yeddo and Zurich. The jobs arrange from advertising sales to engineering.
Google bought YouTube in 2006 for $1.65 1000000000 but the search giant has never separated discover financial data to show whether the recording place is tributary meaningfully to Google's profits.
YouTube's near for more staffers comes on the aforementioned period as one-time cyberspace giant AOL Inc designed to cut nearly 20 proportionality of its workforce mass its takeover of Huffington Post.
