Galaxy journalism 10.1Shortly after the iPad 2 was unveiled, it was reportable that Samsung would be overhauling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 to more ably contend with Apple’s newborn tablet. And it wasn’t whatever bogus gossip simply making the rounds on follower pupil sites â€" Korea’s Yonhap News Agency quoted the company’s executive VP of mobile Lee Don-Joo as locution “We module hit to meliorate that parts that are inadequate. Apple prefabricated it very thin,” and “The 10-inch was to be priced higher than the 7-inch, but we module hit to think the over.”

But Samsung is today denying the whole thing, informing the same maker that the 10-inch Galaxy Tab module start “as scheduled.” Were a change in order, the figure would apparently be delayed, and Don-Joo says “We module move to attain every try to wage the most powerful, well-designed and arable help figure to customers.”

While the paper itself strength not be effort some impact done, we wouldn’t rule out a toll change quite yet. The iPad 2’s baritone pricing is feat to attain it fairly difficult for competitors, who module poverty to undercut Apple and sway on-the-fence buyers. That means a couple of things: One, it’s apparently good for consumers, who module be healthy to opt from a wider activity of more inexpensive tablets. Two, it means Samsung strength be hard-pressed to actually acquire off its Galaxy Tab lineup.

On a satisfactory note, it appears the wheels are in change over at Samsung. The 8.9-inch Galaxy Tab reportedly in the works.
