Ex-Ind. deputy AG says Twitter comments satirical (AP)

INDIANAPOLIS – A past Indiana deputy professional generalized who tweeted that personnel should "use springy ammunition" against Wisconsin labor protesters says his comments were intended to be satirical.

Jeffrey Cox tells Indianapolis television station WRTV he realizes the sound wasn't a good idea, but he doesn't think open employees should retrograde their liberated speech rights.

The professional general's duty says Cox "is no longer employed" by the land after Mother Jones entrepot reportable his tweet. The entrepot says the sound came in salutation to a Saturday bill on its Twitter feed that force personnel could sweep demonstrators out of the Wisconsin capitol where they're complaintive legislation to field open employees of agglomerated bargaining rights.

The professional general's duty says it values employees' First Amendment rights, but open servants should strive for civility.
