WASHINGTON (AFP) – Facebook and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg impact been impact with a causa seeking more than $1 1000000000 in restitution over a tender on the ethnic meshwork which called for a "Third Intifada" against Israel.

Facebook this hebdomad closed down the "Third Intifada" page, which had almost 500,000 fans, but the causa filed in a court here claims that the ethnic meshwork showed "negligence" by not apace responding to appeals to vanish the page.

Besides awarding damages, the upset calls on the court to bar Facebook "from allowing the Facebook tender named 'Third Palestinian Intifada,' and another attendant and similar sites, which exponent hostility and modification to Jews."

The suit, a copy of which was obtained by profession journal TechCrunch, was filed in DC Superior Court by Larry Klayman, who describes himself in the upset as "an dweller citizen of person origin" who is "active in matters concerning the section of Zion and all people."

Klayman also identifies himself as the originator of Freedom Watch, whose website describes it as a semipolitical advocacy assemble sacred to protecting privacy, liberated speech and another rights and "our national rule against the incompetent, terrorist state-controlled United Nations."

Facebook dismissed the case as "without merit" and said it would fight.

"While we haven't been served with a complaint, we believe the case is without worthiness and we will fisticuffs it vigorously," a Facebook spokesman said.

Facebook closed down the tender on Tuesday, several life after Israeli Public Diplomacy Minister Yuli Edelstein dispatched a honor to Zuckerberg urging him to vanish it.

Facebook said the tender was initially tolerated because it "began as a call for tranquil protest" but direct calls for hostility began attending and the tender was distant for violating Facebook's policies.
