Apple to host March 2 event, iPad 2 in the wings (Reuters)
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – Apple Inc has dispatched an invitation to media to listen a "special event" on March 2, which sources hit said is intended to background a newborn iPad with features including a camera.
The characteristically succinct invitation featured an ikon of a calendar tear-off tender with a colossus "2" emblazoned in the center, teased with "Come wager what 2011 module be the assemblage of."
Apple solicited reporters to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco -- the aforementioned scene where Apple undraped the original iPad in January 2010.
