NEW YORK – Apple Inc. on weekday said its newborn MacBook Pro laptops are the first to allow a "Thunderbolt" opening for high-speed connections to both displays and another peripherals, same outside hornlike drives.

The technology was developed by Intel Corp., which is aiming to distribute it to the rest of the PC industry.

Thunderbolt replaces the Mini DisplayPort on MacBooks. It crapper enter directly to DisplayPort monitors, same those made by Apple. Like DisplayPort, the Thunderbolt opening crapper also be used with adapters to enter to another displays with DVI, HDMI and VGA connectors.
