Sony takes on Nintendo with "NGP" handheld game device (Reuters)

TOKYO (Reuters) – Sony Corp launched a newborn handheld recreation device, the prototypal to feature 3G wireless connectivity, as it battles with Nintendo's best-selling DS and tries to fend off rising rivalry from smartphones and tablets.
